Rory McIlroy, the 25-year-old Irish golf champion, is the talk of the town on the green as well as outside it.

Many say Rory McIlroy even makes the phenomenon Tiger Woods pale by comparison. On this remarkable player’s wrist is always, ever since he left Audemars Piguet, an Omega watch.
Rory’s interest in golf comes from his father who is also an avid golfer, and who held several jobs at the same time to afford paying for his son’s lessons and playing opportunities.
Already at two years of age, Rory could manage 35 meters long drives and at nine he nailed his first hole-in-one. He started his professional career at only eighteen, and another four years later he won the U.S. Open.
Rory McIlroy is the golf star that people think will dominate the sport for the next ten years. But a biography has already been published about Rory’s life in golf, written by Frank Worrall, famous sports writer.
In this biography, we readers get to follow Rory McIlroy’s exciting journey to the absolute top of the golf world and get to know what lies behind the success. A story that doesn’t only tell about the happy moments but also failure, difficult periods and the sometimes long way back. Our Swedish golf specialist Göran Zachrisson has written the book’s foreword.
The book will be published by Book Mark Förlag right in time for the start of 2015’s golf season.
